The second Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) will be bigger and better in 2007.

HDAW 2006 drew 1,837 attendees to hear presentations by industry leaders, educators and analysts, participate in one-on-one meetings, and view the latest products and services in the sold-out product exhibition. The attendance made the event the largest gathering of distributors and suppliers in one setting over the last 20 years.

David Engstrom, president of Mutual Wheel, is the HDAW 2007 chairman. Joe Mejaly, vice president and general manager of ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Business, is vice chairman. The 2007 Education Committee will be co-chaired by Dave Scheer, president of Inland Truck Parts, and John Flad, vice president of aftermarket sales, Bendix CVS.

HDAW event organizers are the Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA) and the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA).
